According to Speedcafe.com,
a Website I've never heard of before, IMS announced 35 entries for this May's
102nd running of thou Greatest Spectale... Although rookie driver Pietro Fittipaldi
sounded doubtful after initial reports about his Qualifying Shunt at Spa for
the Opening Round of the World Endurance Championship's (WEC) 2018-19
"Super Season."
As Pietro broke both of his legs along with
reportedly suffering muscle and tendon damage in his NASTY Accident at Spa's
legendous' Eau Rouge corner aboard the DragonSpeed BR1-Gibson V-8 LMP1 chassis.
Thus Dale Coyne will be forced for a second
year in-a-row to scramble to find a
replacement Driver, following le Hamburgular's', nee Sealmeister' Bourdais
wicked Qualifying Crash last year.
While I'll refrain from speculatin' who'll
fill the vacated No. 19 seat for the Indy GP and Indy 500, for which hopefully Coyne
will announce his replacement(s) sometime this week...
