INDYCAR: McLaren Arrows in on 2020 return

As even a Stopped Clock is right Twice a Day...

NAILED IT!

Was all I could think whilst chuckling out loud this morning when awaking to the News that McLaren had announced their return to Full-time IndyCar competition next year in partnership with Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports.

As the new team will be known as Arrow McLaren Racing SP, powered by Chevrolet engines with its Drivers line-up to be announced later.

Which for Mwah, is PR Speak that Thee Mayor 'O Hinchtown, nee James Hinchcliffe just became the new, Hottest Silly Season IndyCar Driver on the Market! Alongside Colton Herta? And I'd also hazard a guess that Marcus Ericsson won't return either.

As I must say I smelled a Rat yesterday afternoon with the story of Boobie Ruble', aka Bob Rahal saying he feels close to landing a third car for next year, and wants to Add some younger blood to his Organization. Hmm? Hinch' is currently 32 and turns 33 this December.

Whilst presumably Meyer Shank Racing will remain Honda powered, since one of its main sponsors is Auto Nation, which just joined Alexander Rossi's Andretti Autosport 2020 campaign. Not to mention Thar current Acura NSX programmed in the IMSA Weathertech SportsCar Championship.

As let thoust Silly Season Games beginnith in Earnest...
