F1: Silverstone announces intensions to "Exit Stage Left!"

Although not surprising, the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) made public at a press briefing yesterday in Bloody 'Ol England that it was triggering it's Break clause to end its current contract to host the British Grand Prix following the conclusion of the 2019 race.

As the BRDC claims it's lost some seven-plus million Pounds the past two years despite having record crowds witness Lewis Hamilton win the last three consecutive British Grands Prix.

And even with this year's captivating Driver's championship fight expected to bring some 135,000 adoring Brits' to Silverstone, the BRDC expects to lose another 4m-plus Pounds on this year's event...

Yet naturally, Formula 1's new owner's Liberty Media are Talking Tough, or should that be Turkey? by claiming how pissed off they're at the BRDC and Silverstone for going public just days before the  race weekend! Not to mention upstaging the sport's first ever Live F1 Show in London prior to the Grand Prix; Boo-Hoo-Hoo! Cry me a river Liberty; Uhm? Like didn't they have to activate their Break clause prior to this year's race...

As Liberty's gotta talk tough since obviously the other twenty, or is that twenty-five? Track Promoters are intently watching the bargaining playing out, and if Britain get's a "Sweetheart Deal," then why not them?

Time to Buck Up Liberty! As you've taken great care in deliberately placing the Blame on everything that's currently wrong with Formula 1, i.e.; current contracts, Heritage payments, Pay TV contracts and lack of future vision for the sport on Chairman Emeritus Bernard Charles Ecclestone, and told the BRDC you wouldn't renegotiate their current deal...

So the BRDC and Silverstone took up their only option, and now you've gotta Deal with It! As seriously? You're gonna let the series largest attended race in the bastion of Formula 1, where six/seven of the ten current F1 Teams reside to not host their signature Home race? Oh Puh-lease, what's that 'bout making the sport Fan Friendly?

As meet the New Boss, same as the Old Boss; We Don't want our biggest drawing Super Bowl NO More...
