Jean-Pierre Beltoise Dies...



Former French F1 Piloto Jean-Pierre Beltoise has died at the age of 77 from an apparent Double Stroke at his home in Dakar, Senegal on Monday, January 5th.

And instead of rehashing what I've already scribbled, I'll defer Y'all to my past two-wheels to four-wheels expose, for  which the Frenchman was famous for his 'Mega 11-titles in 5yrs before switching over...


And I've also previously scribbled 'bout Monsieur Beltoise's Formula 1 achievements briefly, noting how ironically Jean-Pierre would be replaced at Matra by his brother-in-law, Francois Cevert before winning his lone Grand Prix at a very soggy Monaco in 1972, which would become BRM's final Formula 1 victory...
