’Scooters returning to Speedway

This year’s MOTO GP event at the Speedway was potentially the last, albeit I’d attended the ’10 event since it was the theoretical end of the initial three-year contract... And Jeffery Belskus said nothing could be decided since Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holder was in limbo due to scheduling conflicts - whatever that means...

Yet with this year’s raceday attendance slightly up with an extra 2,000 Butt’s-in-Seats and Belskus trekking to San Marino to seal-the-deal, Err sign on the dotted  line; Indianapolis Motor Speedway will now host a further three Moto GP events on the newly repaved  road course that Casey Stoner is a Huge Fan of; NOT! As the news means there’ll potentially be three rounds of MOTO GP being hosted stateside in 2013 when Austin begins its ten year run, as I’m assuming Laguna Seca will remain on the calendar...
