LE MANS: Former Formula 1 World Champions give this year's 24 Heurs race Star Power!

But will anybody be able to SEE the race Stateside? Can Y'all say the Velocity Channel?

This year's 24 Heurs du Mans features two Formula 1 World Champions squaring off against each other for Overall Honours in the LMP1 Prototype ranks. As one's a former World Champion, while the other's a slowly fading current F1 Competitor.

As I must say, I'll be rootin' way more for Bloody 'Ol JENSE', nee Jenson Button who's making his Debutante outing at Circuit de la Sarthe aboard one of the Underdog LMP1 Privateer entries. The #11 SMP Racing/BR Engineering BR1/AER, with JENSE' being the meat in a Rooskie' sandwich; Hya! Co-driving with ex-IndyCar Driver Mikhail Aleshin and ex-F1 Driver vitaly VO5' Petrov.

Meanwhile, many if not All eyes will be focused upon the No. 8 Toyota TS050-Hybrid with some Formula 1 Dude simply known as Fernando' at its controls.

As Double F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, who's not only a rookie this year but was fastest Overall in the just completed Le Mans test. Will be searching for victory alongside his more experienced co-drivers Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima.

As Alonso will be searching to add the second part of the Triple Crown he's chasing by winning at Circuit de la Sarthe...
