Motorcycle Incidents Strike Indianapolis

During the MOTO GP event last weekend, a pair of similar accidents occurred involving Canadian Jesse Phibbs, 21, and American Teenager Peter Lenz, 13. As most likely you’ve heard that Lenz, ironically from nearby Vancouver, Washington was struck and killed during Sunday morning’s Moriwaki MD250H USGPRU race, while Pro Flat track rider Phibbs seemingly is less mentioned, but also remains in serious condition after his Saturday night Flat track crash.

Sadly, Lenz becomes The Speedway’s youngest ever victim and is the first fatality at the Brickyard since Tony Renna’s crash during an October, 2003 IRL testing incident, as his Funeral service will be held today in Vancouver, Washington, while Phibbs remains on Life Support at Methodist Hospital...
