Champ cars Next Star?

Although nothing official has been announced, Graham Rahal expects to race in Champ Cars in 2007. Rahal has previously tested for Newman/Naas Racing at Sebring and hopes to join the team shortly. It’s unknown if Rahal joins Newman/Haas whether he’ll campaign a third car or replace Bruno Junqueira? Rahal has recently announced dropping his A1 GP plans in order to focus upon a Champ Car drive in 2007. If Rahal joins Champ Cars, he would increase the number of American driver participation to three? Currently Alex Figge of Pacific Coast Motorsports is the only confirmed driver, with Rahal and Buddy Rice awaiting confirmation.
