F1: Sauber Sacks Monisha Kaltenborn under Cloud of Misery...

Who put out those Bloody press releases ARSE-Backwards? As we like both our drivers...

In what seems to be a fairly universal feeling in the F1 Paddock, I myself intoned Thars' Somme-thun' Fishy going on at the 'lil Himnwil outfit Sauber. Since it seems at the very least the press releases were issued in the wrong order regarding team principal Monisha Kaltenborn's dismissal! Not to mention in the Wee hours of nothingness...

As Grizzled Journo' Joe Saward was the first to point out the awkwardness of the situation, followed up by the Peacock-lite (NBCSN) Booth Boyz' and Pitlane reporter, the Wee Willie Buxom (Will Buxton) pointing out how Sauber's press release over Marcus Ericsson not getting equal treatment was basically answering the question nobody had asked!

Although I found the Swede's assessment of how he & Pascal Wehrlein would never go on Holiday together not exactly a ringing endorsement of his feelings towards his current team-mate...

Hmm? Wasn't that an interesting In-car Radio conversation that FOM played during the Azerbaijan GP, when Wehrlein asked if He was "Free" to race Ericsson ahead of him, eh?

As the part that smelled the most fishy to me was the innuendo over Monisha not tolerating the rumoured request to start favouring the Swede over the better German driver currently on Sauber's roster, especially since Kaltenborn isn't known for her Bedside manner, as in just ask "Guido Duh Dutchman," Ja Volt!

As I've turned my backside upon the female Indian lawyer ever since her wreck-less handling of driver contracts regarding Giedo Van der Garde's, which is sad, since I'd been a fan of Sauber's Forever, especially since founder Peter Sauber had the Kahoonas to hire Kimi Raikkonen over his Red Bull Benefactor Deeter Majestic's (Dietrich Mateschitz) prized pupil Enrique Bernoldi Wayback in 2001!

And in fairness to Monisha, she's kept the  Minnowesqe F1 Team on the grid thru some very trying times financially, as they now seem to be on the upswing, regardless of what we may perceive 'bout the Honda Power Units they'll begin utilizing next season.

As Will Buxton suggested that an announcement regarding Frederic Vasseur as new Team Principal may be eminent during the Friday (Free Practice) FP2 TV Broadcast, and he categorically does NOT believe in favouring drivers!

As Y'all may recognize the name Fred Vasseur, who was le Reggie's Debutante Team Principal upon Renault Sport's return to Formula 1 in 2016, before he subsequently quit the Enstone based team.

As Vasseur, co-founder of ART Grand Prix has led the premiere French racing team to multiple championship winning efforts, albeit in the lower Feeder Series, nee Formula 3 Euroseries, along with leading ART Grand Prix to consecutive GP2 titles with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton from 2005-06, Timo Glock in '09 and somebody named Stoffel Vandoorne in 2015. Along with decimating the GP3 series, winning the championship from 2010-13 and 2015-16 to date!

Thus, when this happens? As Vasseur sounds like a far better choice over another named being bandied about, as in Dr. Colin Kolles, who once reportedly tried Blackmailing Mercedes and Toto Wolff; SHEISA! Does Sauber really want  that type 'O headache?

as perhaps this changing of team boss simply makes me believe that Sauber's new owners wanted a new leader instead, as I hope they can improve their position with the much lamented Honda PU's next season.

Hmm? With Longbow SA being an Equity firm, headed by Pascal Picci, who's currently running the Show, I'm wondering if this could be some backdoor way for ART Grand Prix to become a future Formula 1 Constructor?
