Kobayashi Treats Fans

Just wrapped-up watching my tape-delayed coverage of the Japanese Grand Prix’s Friday practice session from Suzuka Circuito - where SPEED’s bob Varsha mentioned some very kOOL moves by Japan’s only active Formula 1 driver “K-Squared.” (Kamui Kobayashi)

As the Sauber F1 driver has overseen the bringing of a 60-member Girl’s Choir from the stricken Fukushima Prefecture. And on top of this, Kobayashi had previously made a ‘Dealio with the circuit’s promoter to bring one family to this year’s race for every Formula 1 World Championship point scored by Kamui prior to this year’s Grand Prix. Thus with K-Squared having scored 27-points to date, 27 extremely lucky families were randomly chosen by Kobayashi, who added a further 10-families due to the enormous response of over 6,000 applicants...

NICE JOB KAMUI!
