Racing in Seattle, Huh?

But what can I-T be? And will anybody be watching?

Saturday evening, during the phalanx 'O Duh Chase', I was apparently Jonesin' for some NON-RASSCAR' Roundy-round Taxicabs racing... And found myself going thru the handful 'O television channels I dare to watch; Err listen to.

Thus, I was surprised by my NFB Newsline for The Blind's telephone service TV Guide pronouncing that at 1:30PM Pacific Sunday afternoon, NBC, the B-I-G' Peacock simply denoted Racing in Seattle...

Which is pretty funny, since I'm guessin' that the majority of the Pacific Northwest's Telies' will be tuned into the rival FOX Channel where A-L-L Duh 12S' will be wetting Thar Undies over No. 3 and his Backup Band, the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field, playing at the same time, different "Bat Channel!"

But I immediately guessed this mystery racing programme, which cannot be occurring at Qwest; Err Century Link Field, since Seattle's other Football Squad, the reigning MLS Champion Sounders FC will be hosting their former coach and his LA Galaxy at 6PM Pacific - must be Red Bull's faltering Global RallyCross series, Eh?

And apparently in another indicator 'O the series demise? There's NOT even a WICKEDPedia' page for the 2017 Global RallyCross Championship (GRC) available, 'cause it's Draft version didn't meet Wikipedia's "Strict" guidelines...

Although I did ascertain from this draft version that indeed the GRC was racing Sept 9-10 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA, which AIN'T Seattle, and it's 5/8th's Oval's mostly used for Stock Car Bombers 'N Sprinters', where the likes 'O Kasey Kahne's raced over the years.

Uhm? May be Kahne's raced at Skagit Speedway instead? Although The Bif', aka Greg Biffle's definitely raced Thar, along with Derrick Cope and many other RASSCAR' legends...

This year's Red Bull GRC field is extremely thin, with apparently just 10 cars competing, as the Emerald City plays host to the season's penultimate round.

Once again it's the two Andretti Autosport VW Beetle's leading the pack, with Tanner Driftmeister' Faust finishing ahead of Scotty Duh Goose' Speed for another 1-2 finish for Mikey A' Saturday.

RLLR, as in Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing fields Austin Dyne in the iconic No. 14. Whilst interestingly, Austin Cindric, son of Team Penske President Tim Cindric drives for Bryan Herta Rallysport.

And capping the notable names of IndyCar competitors is Dreyer & Reinbold Racing running a two car GRC Lights entry with Christian Brooks and Travis PeCoy finishing second and third Saturday.
