Daly’s different coloured Easter Eggs...

Perhaps Y’all have heard by now ‘bout American F1 hopeful Conor Daly’s very impressive debutant GP2 outing during the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend - which according to Conor’s latest Racer entry seems to have been pretty much a last minute diealio...

As Conor’s 2013 season plans are still not known, at least publicly, albeit  it seems pretty certain that  he’ll occupy the second A.J. Foyt enterprises seat at Indianapolis this May, which we should know shortly since the mandatory Rookie orientation is April 11, which would be great for Conor but seems to be at the expense of Chase Austin’s  previously announced ride...

Yet according to the younger Daly, he’s driven quite the smorgasbord ‘O racing cars over the past year.

Conor Daly:
“Here is a pretty staggering fact for you: In the last 10 months or so here is a list of racecars I have either raced or tested; F3, GP3, GP2, World Series by Renault 3.5, IndyCar, Formula 1 and for good measure I slipped off to India and won the MRF Challenge championship.”

The Conor Daly column: 3-2-1, go!

UPDATE
After posting this, on Tuesday (4/2) the poorly kept secret of Daly’s confirmation as A.J. foyt’s second driver at Indy this May was confirmed, making him the fourth Rookie driver competing this year - as the Noblesville native will chauffer the No. 41 entry this May…
