Two years ago I scribbled about longtime Sarah Fisher Racing employee Carey Hall who unfortunately had been diagnose with life threatening ALS; as Carey’s devotion to the team and courage of battling his Lou Gehrig’s disease was brought to my attention by ‘CARPETS - which I dually posted in; Fisher to carry colours of Hope. Which ironically Sarah Fisher did carry upon her car in
Chicago and just twenty-four months ago... Kentucky
Unfortunately, sometime within the past week? As the article below is dated August 22nd, it was publicly announced that Carey Hall had succumbed to his battle with ALS and passed away...
And thus, in typical Sarah Fisher manner, the team ran a tribute message during the
race weekend upon the No. 67’s rear flanks remembering Carey, a longtime ex-crew member, as the team’s message was in support of the Carey’s Hope website which you can visit by clicking here Sonoma
