Showdown in Melbourne?

Nope, I’m not talking about the season opening Formula 1 race… I’m talking ‘bout the possibly impending legal showdown over whether or not Scuderia Toro Rosso’s and Super Aguri’s 2007 race cars will be deemed acceptable by the FIA…

The war of words continues to ratchet up as Sir Frank Williams and Colin Kolles are upset by the two teams back handed methods of customer chassis engineering with Kolles promising legal action…

Meanwhile Gerhard Berger whom previously told the duo to "Go ‘F Yourselves!" stands firm on his corporate double-speak towards Toro Rosso’s new challenger being completely above board…

While it’s hard to fathom the FIA kicking four competitors off the starting grid “Down Under,” the bank accountants and lawyers are certainly earning their retainers as I write this…

Perhaps some of the impending controversy will be resolved tomorrow when Scuderia Toro Rosso is slated to possibly unveil the much awaited STR-2 at Barcelona…

Meanwhile I’m fairly certain that several wire transfers of dinero will occur prior to the green lights being flashed in Melbourne…
