Is Red Rubber Better?

I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or bad thing that Formula 1 drivers don’t like change either…

Although I haven’t heard any announcements about this, I did report previously about Bridgestone being keen to “spice up the show” by running different race rubber…

And apparently Bridgestone has gotten their way with the FIA towards introducing two tire compounds to be utilized during F1 races…

But the grids elder statesman, “DC” (David Coulthard) thinks its silly. Apparently Coulthard doesn’t like the thought of Formula 1 taking another page out of Champ Cars playbook with the adoption of alternate “Red” tires

Drivers will be required to utilize at least one set of hard and soft compound tires during each race…
