Having just barely returned home from Austin,
and another very enjoyable F1 race at COTA, nee Circuit Of The Americas, and
now once again upon thee road so to speak; off to see my dying 'Awntie Harriet, it seems somewhat
karmic to have spotted the news of Thomas Louis Magliozzi's untimely
death.
Just who was Thomas Louis Magliozzi
Y'all might be asking? 'whale, he was the
older brother of the famous "Click 'N Clack" Car Talk radio show duo
who at their height of popularity upon NPR had some 4-million listeners; Aye Karumba!
As if you're a "Car Guy or Gal,"
chances are you've heard the Car Talk program upon the airwaves at some point
in time, and Thom's passing just seems one more idyllic reminder that all of us
"Old Cars" sooner or later must
go to that great wrecking yard in the sky...
