As I'm just trying to post this interesting article I listened to via my Newsline for The Blind telephone service awhile ago, before I forget about it. As it's a good feature chronicling the rise and demise of the storied Los Angeles Times Newspaper thru its various owners.

As I was mostly interested over this story since the Newspaper was long under the control of the Chandler's, which for Mwah sent Alarm Bells ringing in thou Belfry; Hya! Since I've long known of Otis Chandler's name due to his affinity for Motor Racing, when his Rag' sponsored the Los Angeles Times Grand Prix at Riverside thru the majority of its existence between 1957-87. Which were primarily Sports Car races, along with serving as the season ending Can Am event.

Visionaries and Scoundrels made LosAngeles Times. As Newspaper returns to local Ownership after 18 years
