Morris Nunn Crosses Finish line at Age 79

Although it was prior to my Formula 1 Baptism, I've long since known of Reggae's', nee Clay Regazzoni's paralyzing F1 Shunt at Long Beach aboard his Ensign N 177 Ford/Cosworth V-8 Wayback during the 1980 USGP West event. Y'all know, when Thar were two yearly races Stateside.

As Karmically, symbiotically or whatever, eh? I'm 86% certain that Regga's obituary penned here on thou Isle 'O Nofendersville Circa December, 2006 was the first story I ever posted an image with! Not to mention having actually seen Regazzoni's vintage Ferrari F1 chassis in action at Laguna Seca in '94.

Although I can NO longer see what image I've used, especially since Blogger.com once totally Obliterated my entire No Fenders fast archive of posts with images in them; SHEISA!

With Ensign being the Formula 1 Team Morris Mo' Nunn founded in 1973 before Shuttering the always Cash Strapped F1 Minnowesqe' outfit in 1982.

Afterwards, Mo came across thou Puddle, where I learned of his Engineering prowess as a key piece of Cheeps' Target Chip Ganassi Racing's 4-Peat Championship Auto Racing Teams Championship success! During those Halcyon Days 'O Jimmy Vasser, Alex Zanardi and Juan Pablo Montoya.

Yet I was totally unawares' that Mo' had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, which presumably contributed to his death at age 79.

Whilst I've scribbled previously 'bout El Zorro', aka Alex Zanardi's IndyCar Fate, having witnessed him in action in thou Flesh Up North Eh! At Vancouver, BC the race before his Horrific Accident at the Eurolausitzring. When Zanardi was driving for Mo Nunn Racing, with his team-mate being TK' Follow-your-Schnoz! Kanaan.
