Biffle Jet Crash update

When things go wrong in a Hurry…

The NTSB reported its preliminary findings upon the Greg Biffle Citation Jet crash apparently on Saturday, January 31st? But as typical, I “Missed the Memo”.

Dennis Sutton, the 67 year old retired Delta Captain was in the pilot’s left seat and flying the aircraft. His 30 year old son Jack was in the right Co-pilot’s seat, and Greg Biffle was in the rear of the cockpit.

Obviously, we’ll never know truly what caused this devastating crash that claimed seven lives, so one can only speculate. But did the fact that Dennis Sutton was only certified to fly the Citation Business Jet with a qualified second-in-command pilot. And that His son Jack wasn’t qualified. Nor was Greg Biffle, who was also in the proximity of the cockpit, since His voice was also picked up on the cockpit cabin’s voice recorder, contribute to this crash?

As I’ll leave it up to you to decide what happened in this truly sad event.
