Spotted the following Blurb when doing my
Daily News Trawl for riveting No Fenders Blog stories... As apparently the
proposed 18-incher' tyres revolution will indeed commence with the 2021 Formula
1 season, and sole tyre supplier Pirelli says none of the F1 Teams can reject
the new rubber, as the new Rules have been crafted with these bits 'O rubber
mandatory.
As these 18-inch
rims will make the Formula 1 chassis look significantly different in a year's
time, but the change from the de riggour 13-inch rims seems long overdue...
