McLaren has finally released Juan Pablo Montoya from his contract, enabling the Colombian to begin his NASCAR testing for next year’s full season Nextel Cup campaign.
Montoya tested a Chip Ganassi ARCA car Monday at Talladega, along with possible races in either Busch or Nextel Cup this season prior to his rookie debut in the 2007 Daytona 500.
