The legendous’ reno air Races have moved to
Roswell, New Mexico this year, having run this past weekend. (Sept 16-20) And
feature seven different classes this year. With the top two being the Jet and
Unlimited classes.
Thanks to ray, who informed me about Juan
Brown’s blancolirio Youtube channel. Which is primarily devoted to Air
accidents, i.e.; Civilian and Commercial Aircraft, plus Helicopters. It also
periodically covers vintage Aircraft.
As here’s Juan’s Heat 1A “close-up” 8 minutes coverage
of this year’s Roswell Air Races from the Home pylon! Featuring several vintage
piston-powered WWII Warbirds. Having learned the Bardahl Special is a P-51
Mustang.
