AUTOS: Ferrari leads the way in Monterey...

Ironically, or is I-T Karmically? As I was putting the finishing touches upon my long lost story 'bout my debutant Monterey Historics outing two decades ago; SHUHZAMM! I stumbled into the news first  upon the Detroit News Automobiles section Friday morning proclaiming that a Ferrari 250 GTO had sold the previous day in Monterey for a record price of $38m; Aye Karumba!

While there were classic cars galore to gawk over during the Monterey Historics weekend, with Carmel getting in on the action too...

With a smattering of exotic cars to watch for listed in;

As the headline says I-T all in;

And there were other classics to gawk at during the motoring portion of Pebble Beach's Concours, when participants actually drive 'em round the Monterey peninsula...
